I love this game, just look at my reccomendation.(Game has potential do not buy yet, i got it for free and still a waste of money.). UPDATE 02/03/15---Another small update.They've temporarily removed the grenade to fix it. That's good, it really needed attention.1 second spawn protection was added, which was severely needed.There is one fix that I'm not sure of however. They say they've fixed the shotgun reload time. It seems reloading your shotgun is still independant on how many shells you have to put in (reloading for 1 shell takes the same time as reloading for 5 shells). Another thing to mention is that the reloading sound and animations are out of sync. So I'm not sure what have they've fixed here.Finally, it seems they don't really concentrate on gameplay fixes and optimization. So far, the updates focus on simple problems, like some lack of sound or animation tweaks and menu UI. Not much for real changes to the gameplay itself, because it is still far from perfect. They seem to avoid going into core elements of the game itself. Their future updates don't focus on it much either. It almost looks like they've labeled the current gameplay as perfect and are just fixing "around the bush", trimming it, dealing with things that are not directly changing the gameplay/graphics/optimization/customization, which are the areas which need attention the most.One thing this game REALLY needs is customizable FOV. It is one of the biggest reasons this game cannot be played for too long before getting a headache.---UPDATE 27/02/15---New patch. "Fixes" ironsight of most weapons (previously, aiming made you hold the gun in some useless position). Albeit the iron sights are still sort of useless. The front and rear sights are not properly aligned with the line of sight of the shooter to the target. They are above it (the weapon), pretty much like Doom (which didn't need it, unlike this game). Thus, you do not know where you actually aim. Basically, aiming makes your aiming reticule disappear and makes aiming the gun even harder. I don't know what the devs are aiming for with this mechanic (bad pun, I'm sorry). The only weapon that has a "proper" aiming mechanic is the pistol, but that thing spasms all over your screen when you fire, so you lose track very easily.Sounds have a little better quality. Still lacking a lot of them though, like the sound of ENEMY FIRE. But hey, at least now I can hear that high quality, metallic sound when walking on CONCRETE (and Rocks).Oh. And a window for inviting your friends was added. Albeit it too is useless for now. (Who the hell would play this game with friends at this stage?)Overall, nothing really changed. The devs stated it themselves, it is a minor update. Hopefully, they are working on big updates and fixes simultaneously.Note: I finally managed to kill someone with a grenade. I ran out of all ammo and started throwing the grenades like there is no tomorrow. Managed to kill one guy - and I think he ran onto one on purpose just to see if the grenades actually do anything. He died at melee range. Did I mention you can also aim with your grenades?---UPDATE 25/02/15---The patch doesn't bring any direct fixes to the gameplay, but it does fix the infamous menu and scoreboard glitch (which made the cursor appear during gameplay, not allowing you to control your character. The cursor disappeared in menu and scoreboard, not allowing you to exit the game properly or select options). It was a big handicap for the players, thus it is good to see it gone.The Menu had some of its useless features removed, like the Solo gamemode which doesn't yet exist. Oddly, one of the options were the Credits (shame or honor? Honor I say, till the game becomes a proper game).I've also realized that the "yellow liquid" from the grenades is fire. It doesn't do anything though, and just stays there for the entire round. Painted the whole map yellow while trying to kill somebody with a grenade (which failed even at point blank range).If the next update will bring some significant gameplay fixes, I might upvote the game due to its steady support and progress. So far, it looks promising.---UPDATE 24/02/15---It seems the day 1 patch finally made it playable. It was good to see that the devs are working on it.While it is still far from good or anything close to a finished product, I was able to finally get the taste of the gameplay concept the devs are aiming for. And to be honest? I enjoyed that concept.I was able to extract moments of satisfaction from the game as I hopped around players at high speeds and blasted them with my shotgun. I had to quit a few minutes later, however, due to the lag on lowest settings, and the awful FOV that gave me headache afterwards.Overall: If the devs continue fixing and baking this game at this pace, it might actually become a great game. If you want to start Beta Testing, you can now. If you're looking for a game to play, however, I still wouldn't recommended it at this stage.Note: I am still reluctant to give this game a thumbs up. It is NOT a game yet.---(Day 1 Opinion) 23/02/15---Are you serious?PROS: You can double jump.And kill people.CONS:Everything else. EVERYTHING.$10? Hell no. Not even a penny for its current state.Yes, it is Early Beta, but it feels like it was made in 2 weeks and just kicked into the market. It is unoptimised, unpolished, barely customizable (low FOV for a fast paced game?). The maps are empty, buggy. Sometimes you walk through walls. Sometimes, you walk into an invisible wall. The grenades are a joke. What are they even supposed to do? They beep, then they "spill their yellow vomit onto the ground". They don't even explode, they just open up and leak without a sound.Hell, even the characters themselves don't look like they want to be in this game. All of them have these scared faces, looking into your soul, screaming "Oh god, kill me". I'm not even kidding. And then, they go spin 1080 degrees uncontrollably through some wall, with their weapons floating and following them a couple of meters behind.Early Beta. Can this all be improved? Yes. They better do it. But they have A LOT to fix.There is still hope. But what were they thinking when releasing this game at THIS stage?Worth waiting to see how it changes? Perhaps.Worth buying (now)? No. Not at all.. rip Into The War------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update26 JUNI - BEDAGAMEBad News Looks like the New management has fallen through Today I have received a message from the new head saying that the project was suspended and that he had been hacked. after a small conversation we had, I told him I would fully take over the project and he seemed fine with this, then when I requested the details to get steamworks ownership (as we are very close to a build and I need that to distribute) he had removed me from the steamworks page and blocked me on skype. I am trying to contact him still to figure out WTF happened but until then it looks like BeDaGame studio staff are going to be back on full dev with our original Project Urban Battlefront (UB). We apologize for this stirrup and will honor all owners of ITW’s purchases when UB is ready for launch------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Though, BeDaGame was the only one that asked for feedback. And we will get their game "Project Urban Battlefront (UB)" for free!. Fun game. Just like most FPS types. Still a lot of work and they are looking for players to help give feedback. Ive met the creaters. Good people. I have some game codes if you cant pick up the 4.99 tab.. lolwat, the game does literally 0Edit: To be clear, this is by far the worst game I have ever seen, its like someone worked on it for a day and then got bored of it.
